Q: Is Scott an Agent, Casting Director, Producer or Coach?

Q: Is Scott a union or non-union voice over actor?

A: Non-union. He can work any projects not reserved for union actors. He operates free of union parameters however collects no residuals nor reaps any other benefits of union membership. He provides work and rights to it on simple buy-out terms.

Q: Availability?

A: Aside from voice over being a fast-moving business, it's all just a simple matter of coordinating schedules. Auditions can be delivered normally within hours, sometimes faster (i.e. Scott can record them while mobile if/as needed); normally within 24 hours or less in any case. Jobs, though often booked anywhere from 24-72 hours in advance, can sometimes similarly be turned around same-day.

Scott can work from his studio, or if you prefer, simply book a session at any of the SF-local studios(*) and call him out.

Q: Rates?

Barring special cases e.g. promising, early-stage start-ups offering liquidity, Scott normally works for hourly or fixed project fees.

• Budget & timeline
• Placement: Broadcast (Radio/TV) or Non-Broadcast (all else)
• Content length: Runtime (h:m:s) or script word count
• Usage Scope: e.g. # weeks; in what market(s)

Q: How can Scott be directed in real-time when working from his studio?

A: Either or both of these can be supported for your project:

• Phone patches: At session time, simply call 415.715.8594, Scott's booth number. Scott will be already in the booth and on the line, with Pro Tools already launched and ready to record. His rig will auto-answer and we'll roll. Note, Scott can support only (1) phone line connection at a time, so if multiple callers need to listen in please plan to conference them in from your end.

• VOIP/ISDN: For lower-end VOIP, Scott can patch Skype calls into his sessions. For higher-end, Scott has Source-Connect Pro so can connect (or multi-connect) online with other studios that do, direct-to-timeline at up to 160kbps ("higher than ISDN") quality. Also from Source-Connect, he can bridge to ISDN; service partner reservation and fees will apply.

There is flexibility and there are options, both for enabling fluid and real-time communication during sessions and for determining whose drive(s) the audio gets recorded to. We'll work it out.

Q: When Scott works from his studio, how is product delivered?

A: As finished else raw/unedited files, recorded audio can be delivered via Scott's cloud or FTP space, or if you prefer, uploaded to yours. Otherwise, files can be shipped on physical media (CD-R).

For VOIP/ISDN sessions, the streaming audio is the delivery.

Q: Confidentiality, Security, Exclusivity?

A: All modern technical protocols (e.g. AES, SSL, VPN) are supported throughout Scott's delivery chain. All direct communications (including auditions) are treated as confidential by default. NDAs if/as needed are never a problem, likewise with Artist Releases and limited-term NCAs.
